Happy Birthday Jeff!

Today, Jeff turns 30. I’m so blessed to have this man as my husband and as a father to Eleanor. We love you, Daddy!

Baby Ella’s First Dance

Filmed this morning, Jeff and Eleanor trying out some dance moves.

**EXCITING NEWS!** We’re using Vimeo to fuel our video posts now, which means they’re a lot higher quality than before. The Vimeo player offers higher resolution and a full-screen option (click the 4 white arrows pointing outward, at the bottom of the picture next to the Vimeo logo). We’ve replaced the labor video with the new Vimeo link, so you may want to take a look at it again to get the full-screen, hi-def experience!

High-Resolution Photos Posted!

Yay!

Yay!

Grandparents, start your engines! I created a Flickr account that you can download hi-res images from. I’ll keep this updated with current pics of Eleanor, Jeff and I.

If you’re not familiar with Flickr, here’s how it works: you can view small versions of the pictures I’ve uploaded on this page. Click on an image you like to see it bigger. Right above the picture you’ll see an “All Sizes” icon. Click on that to get the full-size image. To download that, just right click and “save file as.” Or you can just click the “download the large size” button.

As I add “sets” of images, you’ll be able to see them in the right column. Right now there’s only “Eleanor Grace :: Week 1” but over time there will be more. This will be an easy way for you to navigate once there’s a lot more pictures. Enjoy!

Yay! Eleanor Grace is here! She was born Friday, April 3 at 3:38 am and weighed in at a hulking 8 lbs 9 oz. She’s 20.5 inches long, has 10 fingers, 10 toes, lots of wazy brown hair and a cute little nose. She’s absolutely perfect in every way and we are so, so happy to finally hold her in our arms.

First Post

So, finally, finally, I am ascribing to the Blog phenomenom. When my cousin had her baby, it proved to be a great way to keep in touch with family, and it’s a little less exposing than just posting all this stuff on Facebook for 350 friends to see. This blog will be devoted to sharing pictures, videos, and stories about our family and especially our little girl, our first child (due any day!) who we are raising in San Francisco, California. Can any one person have it all? It seems like I just might. We’ll see how well I can keep it together after the arrival of my daughter … I hear having children can change these things.

Our daughter ... for now.
